Rear end gear ratio
I'm getting ready to change gears in the rear end and want good mileage(have 4.11 now). I'm thinking of 3.08 in my half ton. I have a 4 speed with 3.50, 2.47, 1.65, 1.00. Would the 3.08 work OK? Or should I go with 3.42. Oh ya, 250 six motor

3.23 or 3.31 work the best...kind of in between...a little power, but better mileage.
