tow hooks, speed warning, tach dash (mine on ebay)
I know you guys will all support my annual fundraising efforts for the "Chris H. Home for Wayward Trucks"! Any monies collected will be used mostly to pay the administrator (Mrs. Chris), but I get to keep a small percentage to put back into the maintenance and upkeep of my fleet.
Click here for the goods! Please dig deep. Bid high and bid often! Thanks Chris H. |

Yes, the 72 only hooks bend the same direction, at a more severe angle.
The hooks I am selling are correct for 69-72, and have a Right and a Left. Thanks for your bids guys, reserves met on the hooks and tach! Speed warning is real close to the reserve. Still time to get your bids in! Chris |

Shame on you Joesjunk and Da-Burb!
You both know that it is your turn to come shopping at The Honest Chris Slightly Used But Really Nice Trucks and Parts Store! Things went pretty well on the auctions. I thought the speed warning was going to go higher, but Teeitup must have scared off all the other bidders. Anyone interested in a nice speedwarning dash before I relist? $325 includes shipping in the US48. This was removed from a 1967 GMC C30 with a 351 V-6 (yes, a factory 351E V-6). I replaced the bezel with a very nice original that I have been saving for a worthy dash. This one is it! This dash spent its life until recently in a 1967 GMC C30 camper, so the instruments were shaded from the sun. It is in excellent condition! The bezel has a few scuffs in the silver paint around the perimeter, it is not chrome. The included matching glove box door is not as nice, but is quite presentable. I would repaint the silver around the edge and on the inside, and replace the Chevrolet emblem. The factory "camera finish" (also known as flat black paint), is very nice. Wiring harness and buzzer are also included, everything you need to install this unit in your truck!
Missing is the adjusting knob cover for the speed adjustment (the white needle on the speedometer). In handling the wiring harness, I pulled the orange wire out of the fuse holder. It can be easily soldered back together, but I will leave that for you to do. Buzzer and gauges are untested, but they look so nice I cant believe they wouldn't work? Circuit board has no hot spots, or any problem areas I could notice. |
