Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
Depends on purpose of the truck. My wife had one put in my truck when it was a dialy driver and I loved it. I put a solid back glass in for a cleaner look when I repainted it though.

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
No A/C = nice to have a slider for me. Also, if you have a cap with a slider you can throw stuff in the back while under way...

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
If you have A/C I don't think its necessary. I think trucks look "cleaner" with a flat piece of glass in there too.

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
never cared for the way they look, and even without A/C, I've never seen the need for the air flow. Even in texas heat, I never felt the need for it.

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
I've had a slider for years and use it occasionally, but I prefer the cleaner appearance of a solid rear window. If I ever go through the truck (rust repair, paint etc...), it will once again have the solid glass in it.

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
I'm a fan of having a slider, but I agree it depends on the use of the truck. My truck is my daily driver and doesn't have A/C so I find it convenient and really enjoy having one, but I do think the solid back glass looks a lot cleaner. If the day ever comes where I redo the truck and make it nice to where it isn't my daily ride anymore I'll probably take the slider out.

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
I am having the same debate with myself on my truck, no A/c, but its not my daily anymore, so it will most likely get a solid window as well. I love the clean look of the solid glass and its a little bit more security (one less area to break into)

Re: Back Glass Slider vs Not
I love my slider it works great runnin down the road and makes it real easy to see out of at night. I have limo on the back and it sucks to try to see out in the middle of the night.
