The Chevy dealer parts dept should be able to get one for $325, or you can try advanced adaptors, they might be making them now. Good luck, they are getting very scarce.

I'm converting my truck to a 4-speed this winter. I'm not sure if its a 350/205 or 400/205, but the adaptor will be available. Maybe someone can educate me on how to tell the difference.

Someone must have swapped the TH400 in there. What all did they do to the crossmember?

I thought the late 60's early 70's heavy 3/4 and 1 tons came with the th400/205

They cut out the middle of the cross member and welded a "bridge" over the automatic driveshaft.

I will be needing a new cross member if anyone has one laying around.

you do know that the 350/205 adapter will work on the 700/205 trans too...
