Windshield Wipers

I just purchased new windshield wipers for my truck, and I can't figure out how to get them on. The old ones more or less fell off, so I don't have a lot to go by. The arm is just straight and flat. Does my truck take a special type of wiper? I'm confused. . . .

Re: Windshield Wipers

Just put the stainless set from Brothers on my truck about a week ago...simple concept, but it's not easy (I left a little skin on one of them). Do yours have a spring loaded swivel "bend" in them right near where the lugs attatch to the wiper rotating shaft? mine did. And you have to "straighten" that bend (with very little leverage to do so), and then push the lug onto the rotating shaft part.

You also have to figure out exactly where to position them, so they are equal and level when parked.

Good luck, hope this helps.
