Fuel line question

I know there's several threads/ questions asked about what type of fuel line to run but I haven't found the answer to mine.

I'm looking for a little input I'm close to the point in my build where I need to figure out fuel ines. My question is I'm going to run a carb. on my 6.0 lq9 but wanted run the fuel line that would be ok if I ever decided to go fuel injected.

In other words I'm thinking metal line them the flexible stuff with the high pressure fittings BUT don't know if I would run into any problems since it won't be high pressure to start with.

i think its always best to run metal lines from pump to carb, that way their is less chance of a leak and fire, i am not sure about high pressure fittings , but it possible they would work.

It's a little expensive up front, but I bought AN fitting stainless braided all the way from my tank to the carb. Buy that and you only buy it once. It will support double digit pressure no problem for any future fuel injected system.

Thanks for the input I'd thought about an fittings and braided line I has just talked to a few people and they suggested the high pressure fitting clip things. So thought I'd try and get some more info.
