Re: 2wd 72 blazer
What are you're plans? If you're going to modify it, there's no reason to spend more for a factory 2wd. If the truck is rust free, or close to it, and fairly complete, it sounds like a good deal. Make sure that it was set up to handle the 2wd transmission (cross members, shift linkages, etc.)
Let us know if you decide to get it.

Re: 2wd 72 blazer
Sounds like a good starting point for your project depending on how good the tub/windshield are and if it comes w/ a top or not.

Re: 2wd 72 blazer
I'd start with a 4wd. You can either buy a conversion or convert it yourself. I think finding a solid body is more important than the mechanical since you plan to change all of that anyway. A rusty windshield is going to be the hardest part to repair since you'll have to find a donor vehicle.
Here's an article on doing the conversion - http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...ion/index.html Here's a thread on jmuck's conversion - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...light=weekends

Re: 2wd 72 blazer
All you have to do to be able to buy and sell on the board is become a site supporter. Costs $25/yr (that's under 7 cents per day)
