Decode this rear axle number for me guys!
On the passenger ,frt.side of the rear axl housing is this number 3896839 and under that number is an "N" and on the drivers side its stamped GM56

Still have it for sale ! It made it to 19,999.00 and stopped !

You need to look for the numbers that are stamped on the axle tube somewhere in the middle between the pumpkin and the drum on the passenger side. It should be located upper forward part of the tube. As for the codes you may find, I can't help. Someone else can.
