A/C and heater vacuum lines?
Does someone have a diagram of the vacuum connections for a 70 with factory A/C? I'm working on getting my A/C going and none of the vacuum lines are conected to anything. It was like this since I bought the truck. Im replacing the evaporater with one that has the oriface in the inlet. I got it out of an 87 Oldsmobile station wagon. It bolts right in to our trucks. Someone can have my old evap, expansion, manifold hose for free if they want it. dont know if any good or not.

just some words of adivce go get a new accumulator and dont use that one you have laying there that accumulator is trash once they are exposed to open air they suck the moisture out of the air and become filled to capacity rendering them useless in an a/c system

Mine has two and it looks like a cable should attatch to the top part and make it pivot. it turns very easily 360 degrees.

Does that control head have anything connected underneath it?...not sure If I can help with that type, but after you figure it out, that vac diagram will help you the rest of the way.
