Re: Dropmembered trucks
That isn't a "dropmember" though. That is a raised crossmember. Where did you purchase that one from?

Re: Dropmembered trucks
Look real close and you will see the initials "PB" ... pretty sure it's a dropmember.

I think you need at least three more arrows to really get the point across.

Re: Dropmembered trucks
I've been wondering how many of these trucks with dropmembers are finished and actually get driven some. I've started driving mine quite a bit although mine wasn't built to win show trophies. It has old paint and trim, inside of the bed isn't finished, etc.

Re: Dropmembered trucks
No worries, it could be easy to confuse the original style Dropmember with the competition's piece.

Re: Dropmembered trucks
Ron-
You will need to trim off some of the threaded portion of the rack and pinion. Do you not have a set of instructions? There will be a step with pics that demonstrate and explain the process. Here's a link to a pic of the "normal" amount to trim. http://porterbuiltstreetrods.com/sit...1/DSC05246.JPG

Re: Dropmembered trucks
i had to cut a couple of inches off both sides of the threaded ends on the rack. It was in Nate's instructions. You might have missed it.
