Question Dash Removal

I am changing cabs but have to swap dashes due to some hackers. When I take out the dash I unbolt the three bolts on each side and are the spot welds along the windshield lip that I have to grind off. Thanks

Some people cut it under the dash pad and weld it back hiding seam, But if you have the windshield out you can drill the spot welds.

After I do my body mounts I'll be doing the same thing. I have still not decided on where I want to cut. I have two options, but can't decide

t.v.

shhhooottt, I am just putting a t.v. were the messy job of a stereo dash is at. then noticed at charlotte them small, small itty bitty radio controllers, thinking of buying one of them. anyone know what there called? description- green control pad for radio and cd changer, and its about 3.5"-4" X 2-2.5". If you looked at rod doors they had a setup...how come I feel like I just answered my own question???
