Price Check

Is it just me or does this seem very pricy for a truck thats in pretty rough shape.

Red face

I sold a 71 in better shape than that for 2800. And I think that was fare

Oh yeah, It had rust in the usual places and 70K orig. miles, 307, 3 on the tree, PB.

People are really starting to use the word rare too much. These days, it seems like if it is more than 20 years old and for sale, then it is rare.

As for the starting price, that is what I paid for my 69, except in Canadian dollars, and it is a finished truck.

It probably is a low production model given its a BB 71 Super and appears to be a short wheelbase model. 71 was the first year for the Super option and it did not sell well when compared to overall production of all models. In 72, there were many more supers built than in 71. That being said, its way overpriced regardless.

It looks fairly intact, but does seem like to much, I guess some one really wants it, its all in the eye of the beholder isn't it, I wouldn't pay more than 3500 bucks, it need a lot of work, my 2 cents, hey how come there isn't a cent sign on the key board

What may be considered as junk to one is considered a treasure to another, you and I may see this as to high but one may see it and believe that he is getting a steal. my .02

That is too true, most people think that what they have found is pure gold, when in reality it is nothing that special. I mean, that would be a sweet truck to own. But for that price it had better have at least 10 complete sets of front and rear towhooks in a box in the back, plus another set on the truck.

I agree--
waaaaaaaaaay too much money: BUT you know what some sucker will probably pay full asking price, unless there is a lot more to that truck that they are not telling us, like tilt tach and a bar of silver under the seat?
