any pictures of 67/68 trucks with front roll pans?
ive seen them on the 69-72s and dont really like it that much.
however i think it may look decent on my 67 front clip. anyone got pictures of a 67/68 with a front roll pan? |

I don't personally like the way they look on the fronts. It just seems like the front end needs more visual weight to it...

I do agree that front roll pans do not look that good on the GMCs that have a chrome grill. But if the GMC grill is painted, or it is on a Chevy, then they don't look too bad. Does leave the front end light looking (kinda like your buddy with no chin), but lowering the front end helps to distract from that.
Main thing I don't like about the front roll pans, most have a cutout for the license plate. I am planning on using one for the blazer as that is the only sheetmetal left that I need for it. the blazer has a 67 chevy front end on it and I plan on filling in the side gaps and smoothing out the recessed area for the license plate. |

Would anyone happen to have a pic of a 67-68 Chevrolet Suburban with the roll pan? I have been thinking about doing this to my 68 burb but would like to see how it looks first!

I like them but I agree about the chrome on the GMC's. I'm going to paint the lower part of my grill just below the blinkers to help blend that in. Also, I think a roll pan must be welded to look right. Just my opinion, but your welcome to it.
