Installing clutch pedal
I'm trying to put a clutch pedal on my 72 c10. I know the pedal shaft just slides onto the left end of the original pedal box assembly (in theory) but I'm finding I don't have room to move the pedal far enough to the left to get the pedal shaft in the hole! What am I doing wrong? Did you guys have to pull the whole pedal box to get the clearance needed to get the pedal mounted? Thanks!

Re: Installing clutch pedal
I gave the sheetmetal a little tap with a 2# hammer to get the clearance needed. Its under the cowl so you can see it.

Re: Installing clutch pedal
Ok cool, just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something obvious before I started "ramming it home. ". So it is indeed a very tight fit. Thanks.

Re: Installing clutch pedal
Yeah I had to tap the sheet medal too, make sure you grease the shaft and install new neoprene washers or that thing will squeak every time you step on the clutch.
