Texas cab

Building my first 1968 swb truck and needing a cab in a serious way. The cab I have is rusted way past fixing. A Dallas area cab would be great. Also have some extra parts such as passenger door, tailgate (fleetside), fenders, 5 lug spindles with disk and calipers, 6 lug rearend for sale or trade. Cab doesnt have to have doors or any glass.

Welcome to the best truck board on the world wide web! I am sure someone has your cab here. You might want to post pics of your parts and prices as well as some pics of your project.

I just noticed a truck floating on top of a pile of scrap metal waiting for the crusher! (OH THE HORROR!)

cab looks pretty straight, bed seems to be messed up from being lifted onto the top of the pile.

they usually don't sell trucks from there because of title troubles, but I know the owner of the scrap yard so I am going to try to call him in the morning and see if I cant rescue it.

this is in Longview, I will let you know what I find out on it.
