Color question

Talking to a guy about an Orange and White(top) 72 GMC he is selling. I asked him if that was the factory color on the build sheet in the glove box as the truck has been restored. He read it to me as Medium Red. He has also added Factory Air and Tilt. Should all this detract from the premium price he is asking? Other than that the truck is basically brand new. Thanks.

Re: Color question

Medium red does look orange depending on the lighting. So I wouldn't let that stop you from buying it if she's priced right. Here's a couple shots of my Medium Red truck in different light conditions.

Outstanding truck See Ten. Thanks for the pics; they are a good reference for my decision.

Re: Color question

If you're going for #'s matching it may hurt the $$.That's mostly true of muscle cars and Corvettes. But on these trucks it's still more about the options and what you want. There are a few exceptions such as anniversary editions and such but for a show truck, nice driver or even a working truck the options make it more desirable.Just my opinion.
