Brake Pedal Question
Does your brake pedal rest against the rubber bumper on the plate under the steering column or is there space between the bumper and your pedal when it is all the way up??
I am trying to set my pedal height on a hydroboost conversion, but I don't know if it is supposed to be all the way up against the bumper or spaced away from it.

Re: Brake Pedal Question
Mine was on the stopper before my brake swap, but to keep the brake lights from staying on I had to modify it. Long story short, it doesn't rest there anymore.

Re: Brake Pedal Question
How far down does it rest??
I called a buddy of mine with a '72 K5 and he checked his and he had about 7/8" between the pedal and the stop. The reason I ask is that the way I am setting this up, I will not have the adjustable end on the rod anymore, so I need to get it in a "livable" position the first go-round. Years ago, I had installed a booster with a "hybrid combination" input rod and had it set so the pedal was too high. I never noticed it until some people who were driving my vehicle mentioned that the brake pedal was too high. I adjusted it down and preferred the lower setting myself. That being the case, I am hoping that by setting it on the stop it won't feel too high. Opinions are welcome.
