Wtb / trade for exhaust manifold studs

Need these small parts, ac bracket stud - fits on PASS. side, up front and the other, this stud secures the dip stick tube. This style dip stick is usually found on most C or K trucks w/ SM Block V8's with brake booster. I've been looking for a while, so, hope the pictures help, thanks

Sorry, I just checked and I thought I had on for you. But, it's for a power steering bracket, only 3/4" above the bolt head

I never could find any when I looked last year. I ended making a set with a welder buddy of mine. It wasnt pretty but it worked.

Thanks, I think I'll check with a machine shop, Amazing, I wonder how many of these could be found in a junk yard - outside of FLORIDA.

Re: Wtb / trade for exhaust manifold studs

A stud works good. The ones with the allen hex end are easier to screw in. Just run a nut up to hold the brackets, like the original bolt did. It is nice to be working with the new clean threads, too.

Re: Wtb / trade for exhaust manifold studs

Wow! I'll have to break the pig open. Also, I need the dual vacuum port thing that bolts into the intake manifold behind the carb and the fitting that that screws into the the back of the carb for the brake booster line. I'll PM you with a few more questions. Thanks alot Randy
