Re: 71 c 30 sick truck
I'd drop a 502 on NOS and a modern built 5 spd in there and rebuild the bed outta 1/2" plate to try to keep the rear end from spinning to much and to match the movie truck then go hunting for rice burners

Re: 71 c 30 sick truck
I couldn't force myself to own a gas vehicle with stacks unless it was a car for our local demolition derby.
I hope that relays the way I feel about stacks on a gas engine. |

I can't make up my mind. But looks like great craftmanship. I would say the person who wants something to stand out this is it.

A lot of time and money went in to the truck. Look like it would be fun to drive, across country.

Re: 71 c 30 sick truck
Revising my earlier statement...it looks like it just using wheel adapters with the standard 1 ton axle...those drum brakes look out of place.

Re: 71 c 30 sick truck
I really like it, just because I can see me towing my 67 to some car shows with it. That would be one cool as tow pig, but I agree a motor upgrade to at least a 383 or a big block would be deemed necessary, as there are some big ole hills in this part of Arkansas.
