4 speed in 1972 question

in the 1972 model year c30 did they come with the old sm420 still or was it the newer sm465 trans from the factory.

The SM420s went from 1948 to 1968, although a short few made their way into 69. And for a couple of years the NP435 was used also.

My 68 is a CH465. I think 1967 was the last year of the 420.
