Say, I found a longhorn bed that's in great shape, what's it worth?
The guy who has it was going to make a trailer out of it.

Shipping is always the killer. If it was in my back yard, I'd say $500-800. I actually converted one of my longhorns into a shortbox because I could not come up with a nice bed.

It could be as low as $200-500 because there isn't that great of demand. There are a few guys who want one and would be willing to restore one and you will find them here on this web site. Everybody else has a long box or a short box and can't use it.

I have a longhorn with a bad bed, but found a 9' stake bed. Hence my project of making a tilting flatbed out of my 70 longhorn. I wanted a 72, so I am using the front clip off a 72 parts truck. few of us will know the difference.

A longhorn bed won't really bring too much, as said before no demand and shipping is killer. Someone who wants one will pay for it, but it won't really bring all that much unfortunately.
