Quick parking brake cable question
So putting in the new parking brake cable and got the firewall grommet, any ideas on THAT little hole and all the too big stuff going thru it? Cut a slit in the grommet? Maybe cut a slit in the parking brake hand lever attachment piece big enuff to slip out the cable with the ball on it, install the grommet and then slide it back in and spot weld the slit? Taking care not to weld the cable!
