2003 to 1965 Chevy 350 motor swap- help needed

Hello guys and gals,
I'm swapping my 283 out for a 2003 sbc 350 6.0 .. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this and what parts of the computer and harness do I need to take? How much of the truck harness do I need to take with it? I'm putting a 700r4 behind it. I got a heck of a deal for the entire truck so I couldn't pass it up. Any advise or info would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance, Ed

I have not done an LSx engine swap, but yes this has been done many, many times. I am sure a few of those that have done the swap themselves will chime in. In the meantime, I would suggest checking the LSx swap section for some answers to your questions.

One thing I can tell you, is that it will be a whole lot easier to use the trans that was behind the 6.0 originally, rather than trying to make a 700R4 work.

Oh and FYI, a 6.0 is 364 cu in not 350.
