Official "Z"ed Truck Thread Picture Post
I have been searching for about 15 minutes now and cannot find the picture I have been looking for. There is a picture of a z-ed rear frame on here somewhere that had a pair of vice grips holding it temporarily. I thought I could find it but no dice. Can you guys help me out?
And since we are looking, how about posting any pics you can of z-ed rear frames. Thanks in advance for your help.

I like the way trucks tv z'd their rear end and bed. You can download the video of it on Itunes.

Re: This is a pain but...
Heading down the right track now. I looked again today for a while and still can't find the illusive shot. What it looked like was the guy cut the frame at an angle then rested the rails on top- clamped them down and then gusseted the rails. Reason for all of this is I am contemplating sending my rig for a "Z" and wanted to show the guy some examples of what I had seen, so thanks Scoti.

I think only moderators can edit thread titles.

Re: This is a pain but...
That's shortening a frame.... he's looking for 'Z' cuts (dropping the truck by altering the rail heights).

Re: This is a pain but...
Ok, got it now. I'd avoid this step then.
