Chevy 3/4 Hubcaps #3
One more set of three-quarter ton caps. These have me a little confused because they seem to be stainless but are painted correct and the centers or pushed out. The paint doesn't look to be fresh either, so maybe someone can explain this. Anyway they look to have been polished and have few imperfections (see pics) but are still very nice caps . $275 shipped to lower 48. Please respond in the post. First take them and gets them.

Based on the pic in post 8 I would say they are chrome and not stainless. Chrome should look "copper-ish" when the chrome gets thin which is what that picture appears to be showing. I agree nice caps though.

Looks like chrome over brass 69-72 caps. Very nice, wish I needed them.

I'm no expert on these by any stretch. But I don't think their chrome over brass because of the weight of them. Anyway to the top.

You might have both stainless & chromed/brass in the set. It seems GM had some stainless "out" made after 72 as replacements. No need to try and make both when stainless was close enough. I have a few of those, but have never seen them on an original truck.
