Pro Street C-10 is ROLLING!!! UPDATE

FINALLY!!! The chassis is 100% finished, and done right. Of course the front will come down significantly. Kind of a crappy pic.

Re: Pro Street C-10 is ROLLING!!!

It's built to race with intentions to be a daily. I'll be using the 327 out of my Vette while I build my big block. I know the 327 is small but dont let it fool you, it was aproaching 450 at the wheels before I tore the car apart... and it'll turn almost 8,500 RPM!!! I'm piecing together a simple, reliable yet STOUT 454. Stock heads and bottom with a simple 4-71 blower and it should be tons of reliable fun.

Re: Pro Street C-10 is ROLLING!!!

BOOB, How did you do your rearend? My brother is going with a 20x14 wheel on the back. Wheels have a 4.5" of backspace so he will have to narrow the rearend and tub the bed out. Is this what you did? What rearend are you using? Back-halfed?

Re: Pro Street C-10 is ROLLING!!!

Complete back half, narrowed custom 2x4 rails to 27" outside to outside. I narrowed the 9 inch myself...4 link and wishbone.

More pics soon.

I've seen those the board a few times. I'm considering it. Does the dropmember actually lower the front end a little on its own or is it strictly for added clearance? I really dont want to run a bag setup.

Re: Pro Street C-10 is ROLLING!!!

Old thread but I decided to go with a dropmember! Im talking to Nate right now about the details. You cant tell me that dropping the front end just below the current rear for a SLIGHT rake wouldn't be SICK! AHHHHH!!!! I can't wait! I've been woring on an '52 panel for a guy ever since I posted this thread and just finished it last night. So now I've got a fistfull of cash and plenty of time!!!

Sweet ride! I'm not to far from you. You will love the dropmember. I have one on my 70' with a slight rake and I think its killer!

Greenleaf auto recyclers in Seguin. I believe they're nationwide. I work at a body shop so I got the wholesale hookup!

Don't knock the temporary air lines or ugly control arms. It's not done yet. Thank GOD for Nate. We're homies now. We go way back. Gangmembers.
