'72 Drop member... "Betty"
Ok fellas, here is the start to my build. My plan was to find a truck that didn't need much body and paint work, tear it all down, install some goodies and cruise the hell out of it. A buddy of mine, big Willie will be helping me. Dude has a lot for talent. Going to try and keep a stock look with 22's and lay frame with a few subtle ideas to keep it clean.
We are going to use the best parts from Porterbuilt, accuair, vintage air and some Sloshtubz. Stay tuned and please let me know what you think. Here's Betty when I brought her home from the west coast yesterday. |

Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"
Looks like a great truck, and like your plans for it. I spoke to Willie the other day about this project, and look forward to seeing it come together.
That looks really cold.... we are not used to that here in Az. |

Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"
It's funny how fast these old trucks come apart. It's the going back together that seems to take the longest time.

Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"
That's no joke. I think I am going to bite the bullet and tear out the interior and go red. Really like that look and it will be easier now then later. I'll have a lot of down time while the frame is being worked anyways... Decisions decisions

Re: '72 Drop member... "Betty"
Gutted the interior yesterday. Picked out some red for the seat. Now just need to tint some paint for the dash etc. Not much longer until all the suspension gets here. Then I will start posting some cool stuff.
