Re: Someone needs to save this 69 c20
It's 50 miles from my house... It would be a great parts truck... I've order a lot parts in the last two weeks and put new tires on so I'm broke... the add said it was a 327 but the badge states custom camper/350?

Re: Someone needs to save this 69 c20
Darn nice truck! I would buy it for sure if I lived anywhere near Utah. I am looking for a solid 3/4 ton. Hopefully the guy is not serious about crushing it and just using that as a scare tactic to sell it.

Re: Someone needs to save this 69 c20
The price of scrap is down. He'd be lucky to get $200 at the crusher. If it were in my neighborhood, I would point out this fact, and throw a ridiculously insulting lowball offer at him.

Re: Someone needs to save this 69 c20
That's a really great deal. If I was in within 50 miles I wouldn't hesitate to pick that up. The interior is probably worth that....and appears to be in very good condition.
Those of you who are close should seriously think about it.....you're not going to lose your money on that. My two bits. Coley

Update Someone needs to save this 69 c20
So someone did save it. My younger brother who is 18 did. 150 mile round trip. Well worth it. The interior is in great shape except carpet smells like smoke. Has a t400. We haven't ran the numbers to verify if it's a 327 or not. Here's some pics since we all love pics.

just clean it up. Keep the patina look with factory wheels, the interior is in great shape. Make it reliable.
