1956 GMC Stock Rim Size
I need to get some tires so I can get my truck out of storage and move it. If I am not mistaken the tires on it are:
6.70-15 GULF CROWN DELUXE nylon I am trying to figure out what modern day radial size I should get to put on the ORIGINAL WHEELS. I am not interested in buying brand new tires for long term use/driving at this point. Everything is original on the truck(5 rims and hubcaps)and I just want something to move it around on for now and if I ever get it going I can decide what to do about good tires and maybe different rims then. |

215/75/15 should work fine for you, but the best way is to measure the tire diameter and find something equal to match

I installed 215/75-15's 2 weeks ago. They went right on with no problems and look pretty correct. I even left the original valve stems in them that are 30 years old and they held air.
