My new '72 "survivor"
Caught this on Craigslist on Thursday in Northern Kentucky. It now in my garage! The owner bought it off the showroom.

Re: My new '72 "survivor"
White with a plaid seat? Have I told you how much I HATE YOU?
That's a beauty! I love the wood framing on the bed too. Looks like the PO liked to haul. I wish my truck had a plaid seat....I wonder how much a modern look-a-like would cost me as the seat needs reupholstered anyway.... |

gorgeous! I thought you were looking at buying a blue plaid truck? Love the orange - probably my favorite plaid.

Re: My new '72 "survivor"
Can someone tell what what this part is? I will ask the owner but I thought maybe someone has seen one or has one. Mounted on the right side, appears to have come with the truck.

Re: My new '72 "survivor"
those are exhaust coolers , usally they have been thrown away , your truck is very original even battery cable , but those cool the ram horn exhaust manifolds as they can and will crack in the center ports , just forces a little more are on them , very nice truck kevin

Re: My new '72 "survivor"
I didn't know the Highlander package was available on base models (it is a Custom 10 right?). Plus, didn't Highlanders get A/C?
