Question to those who have installed porterbuilt A arms

Can someone tell me if you had to do any modification to install the upper A arm with the factory crossmember. To me it seems that there needs to be some trimming on the upper part of the crossmember. I'm afraid of doing something I may end up regreting later so thought it best to ask.
