Bed longer than 8 feet

Just a quick question my long bed measures right around 100 inches which is obviously longer than 8 feet-

is my truck a longhorn? (think there called)
the reason is when shopping for tonneau covers-bed carpet kits-replacement bed sides there all listed at 97 inches (if i can remember correctly)

Re: Bed longer than 8 feet

A Longhorn is 6" inches longer than the Longbed, so I think you do have one. 102" is it

Re: Bed longer than 8 feet

A Longhorn will have a pretty noticeable seam towards the front of the bedsides.

Re: Bed longer than 8 feet

Here is a GMC that has the same bed as a Chevrolet Longhorn....notice the seam about 6" back from the cab. Also included is a longhorn bed on a dually frame.

Re: Bed longer than 8 feet

I suspect you are measuring the bed from the side, and on the outside at that.
Try measuring the inside of the bed.
That's not a longhorn, and it obviously isn't a 9 foot stepside.
The SPID won't tell you anything unless you can read model numbers.

If you are expecting your longbed to be 8ft then I would say yes.
