fuse box diagram

tried searching but couldn't find it, I know I saw it on here somewhere!!!!

It was a pic of the fuse box and what color wires went to what fuses.

I need to know the color of the "gl box sp lamp" fuse wire.

Thanks

Re: fuse box diagram

THanks, I've got that one and cant find the glove box wire on it.

The one I was thinking of was a picture of an actual fuse box showing what wires went to each fuse.

Re: fuse box diagram

AFAIK you have to run your own GB wire, our trucks did not come with one.

Re: fuse box diagram

yeah vette, that was the one I was thinking of. I thought it showed what wires went to what fuses but hey I've slept since then!!!!!

And larry I think you're right. I don't have a glove box light or a spot lamp and couldn't find a wire that might go to either.

And thanks Krue, I had looked there and found the wiring diagram but not the fuse box pic.

But it turned out that wasn't my problem. I was rebuilding my heater control and took out all the heater boxes to clean and paint. When I was putting it back together something shorted out the radio,,,,, looked at all the fuses,,,,only one blown was that glove box fuse,,,,replaced it and it blew again,,,,,traced all the wires,,,redid everything that looked questionable and still no radio,,,took radio out and found blown fuse on back of radio !!!!! Replaced it and everything works !!!

Except,,,,, that fuse for the glove box (which I dont need) It keeps blowing the fuse when I put a new one in. It had probably been blown for awhile, I just hadn't noticed it. I'm still worried why it is blowing the fuse when nothing (??) is connected to it.

Re: fuse box diagram

The wire for your glove box is a small red wire. It is probably loose from switch and laying on metal.
