Re: steering wheels

Just about everyone who sells aftermarket steering wheels. You need the horn kit that matches the steering column and is right for the wheel you want.

Grant kit for a Grant wheel or grant style wheel or the other kits for the multi bolt wheels.

This page is for Grant wheels for my 71 but it should be the same for 72 http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/ca...971&vi=1144516

I've got a 14-1/2 inch Nardi wheel that I bought used off Ebay in my 71 installed using a grant adapter and a machined adapter to adapt the wheel to the Grant adapter.
sorry about it being upside down in the photo.

When you pick a wheel don't just pick for price or flash. Pick one that is comfortable in your hands and you can stand to look at and live with as long as you have the truck.

I've had several wheels in my 48 over the years including a 59 Corvette wheel, wood wheel with the rivets showing (most uncomfortable thing to drive with) and a couple of others. A couple looked great but were uncomfortable and a couple were fairly comfortable but were ugly. It will get a Nardi wheel in it when it goes back together.

Re: steering wheels

Go to www.summitracing.com and key in "steering wheels" in their search box. Or, use their manufacturers listing on the left side of the page and look for Grant, LeCarra, or Superior Industries.

Re: steering wheels

I recently switched to a Grant 1171 wheel and couldn't be happier. It is a great looking 12.5" mahogany wheel and gives a bit more thigh room when sliding in and out of the seat. But not sure I'd advise it if you do not have ps.
