Triplus Vs. The Other Guy review.
When I bought my truck it came with a few new panels from the PO. Including a new Pass Inner Fender. (All those parts came from Classic Cheverolet Parts, Inc.) www.classiccheveroletparts.com
I have been buying mainly Triplus parts including a New Driver Inner Fender. Well today I picked up each only a moment apart getting ready fpor some paint. Wow was that Triplus panel much heavier!. For a pretty plain piece it was interesting that there was that much of a weight difference. looking at them the other part looks like a tin can. Triplus gets my A+. Not sure who stamped the other part, but it also came from the taiwain neck of the woods. Just used much thinner sheetmental. |

Re: Triplus Vs. The Other Guy review.
So far all the patch panels we have used on my '67 have been Triplus and I really like the quality. They fit good with just a little massaging and feel pretty strong.

No matter what else you can say about any reproduction sheet metal. The fact is Tri-Plus uses same gauge or thicker metal as original. No doubt.

We do but so does most all board members here. Mikes Bump and Grind Top Banana GMCPAULS Wes at classicheartbeat Atheys there are others i am sure Just remember however it is still a replacement part. triplus will get great reviews but don't think it all bolts or welds up perfect in every case. Many people its their first time or second doing body work and they expects it all to be perfect. It still takes skill and that is learned. We do a lot more body panel replacements then most vendors do. They sell more than us but we use the parts and we know how they fit. It bothers us to cause it costs us money so we sell the best parts availible. |
