I'm not sure about legnth but I'm pretty sure the 3/4 is wider, and I believe the center bolt is a different size

The center bolt is the bolt on that lines up the rear axle to the center of the leaf spring. That is why its called the center bolt. Keeps everything square so you can tighten the u bolts and have everything straight.

I dont think they will change out. There are two lenghts 52 or 56 in. Your K10 most likely has a gm 10 bolt 8.5 differenetial.

3/4T springs are longer, so they won't work without moving the rear spring perch.

Re: 1/2 springs and 3/4 ton springs the same?
My dad put 3/4 ton springs in his 1984 Gmc sierra 1500 2wd pickup.. I remember them using the torch alot, but other than that.. the rear end is the same... and everything worked out great.. the rear of the truck sits up 4 inches higher than before...

Re: 1/2 springs and 3/4 ton springs the same?
thinking i already know the answer, but can't you just re-arch the leafs to fit the smaller length, using a come-along or other similar device?
