MI WTB: 67 Front Clip - 503 Green - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Looking for a complete front clip / doghouse for my 67 (L/R fenders, Hood and Cowl panel, Grill is a bonus).

Im hoping to find some solid patina sheetmetal in the correct Green 503 color code.

Willing to travel or pay freight for the right one. Thx MUCH, D'

Check this ad out. It looks a little more blue than green but may be worth looking at..
Its a 1967 front clip. There is also one listed on Omaha's craigslist but it is white.

I have had a lot of success removing re-sprayed paint with lacquer thinner and a rag. Might want to give it a try if nothin else. Good luck in your search.

Adam- It actually works better on primer than paint! Just be careful and go slowly so you don't go through the original paint underneath. Results will depend on how much paint and primer is on top, but I have had pretty good luck so far.

How did I miss this. Lewis, IN is probably 15 miles from me and I drove thru there this last weekend hauling a truck home. I am tied up with Thanksgiving and going out of town this weekend but might be able to work something out if you want me to go look at and get pictures. I am sure around here it is not rust free but it might be better than some.

Thanks guys, funny I was browsing that area last night and missed it too. Looks to be a bit "crispy" for what I'm hoping to find.....that pass side fender is wooped! Almost makes the local one look good.......Maybe a usable hood, cowl and grill though....

But I did find this one though.....Id be happy with that.......anyone want to buy all my stuff....lol
