Question '72 C-10 Fusible Link Question

Have had my share of electrical problems with my '72 C-10, which I have solved, but recently after installing a new fusible link, it seems that I have burnt out another. Not sure why this has happened, but my question is, has any one ever heard of one that has a removable fuse, so when you have a problem, not only can you check to see if the fuse is blown, but also can change it easier and cheaper that the factory kind. TIA.
