Door Bottom/box replacement panels
I started digging into fixing my doors last night, when I noticed my repair panels do not have drain holes, nor the "bubble" on the back corner which I feel is for structural support.
Are their any replacement panels that have all this in them? Or do I have to cut all this up, patch these into my new patch, etc etc.

Re: Door Bottom/box replacement panels
I would try to keep as much original sheet metal as possible, most replacement panels or parts are not as good as what came on these trucks

Re: Door Bottom/box replacement panels
I know, but most of this is rusted and needs replaced. Just wondering if their is a different brand that has the correct previsions.

Re: Door Bottom/box replacement panels
Most of these patch panels come from the same place, but get sold under different brand names. There are some exceptions. You could try contacting the vendors on the site and asking if they carry more accurate patch panels.

Thats what I was thinking. Going to see if these say a brand on them and try to find others.

Reach out to Wes at Classic Heartbeat or GMC Paul. Both are board members here. They will give you the straight scoop.

Re: Door Bottom/box replacement panels
Out of all the patch panels I have bought inner/outer lower door skins were the worst fit and quality. So bad I just returned them. Hope you have better luck
