will corvette rally wheels fit a truck

Will the rally wheels that are usually found on the corvette (15x8's?) work on these style of trucks? If so what is the maximum tire size that will fit? I'm hoping to lower my 68 gmc about 4" all around...

thanks!

Your 68 should be 6 lug, cars are 5 lug.
If you have swaped to the 5 lug disc set up, they still won't fit, the trucks have the 5 on 5 bolt pattern, while the cars are 5 on 4 1/2 or something. (cars have a smaller bolt pattern)
You CAN however get the wheels in 6 lug or in 5 on 5 through the aftermarket.

Thanks for the info... Actually my truck is currently an 8 lug setup, yep 3/4 ton. But I am planning on converting the suspension to the 1/2 ton setup.

Where did you get the wheels from?

Thanks and I love the way those wheels look!
