pressure info needed
When performing a cylinder pressure test. How low is too low? I know that if one cylinder has a lower pressure than the other s that it indicates a problem. But what should the pressures be? 350 motor stock bore/ heads.

Re: pressure info needed
I'm just looking for a range. I know that compression ratios changed a little through out the years. The block is on a 72 blazer- all stock

Re: pressure info needed
150psi+(just a guess on my part) with less than 10% difference in cylinders

It's a catastrophic success.

Re: pressure info needed
The main thing is consistency, unless its smoking like a freight train and the rings are shot then check for a closeness between cylinders.Ratios and pressures will vary between engines but shouldnt fluxuate much between cylinders unless theres a problem.
