69'longhorn info...
going to look at 69'longhorn sunday,seller says it has a factory 396 with turbo 400. does this sound right? i have read gm used 396 badges but had a 402 under the hood.
looking to find an original truck here, any input welcome |

402 only came after 1970. '69 was a 396.

that is correct... 396 was in trucks in both 68 and 69, and then a 402 70 - 72

thanks for the help. hope this truck is as nice as the seller says it is. says it came from cali. a few years back,clean and original, if so it will have a new home.
