Front Mono Leafs? Anyone used them?
Ok, My Dad's truck... I already installed motor, trans, power steering, custom motor mounts.... He just wont take my advice and scrap the stock front end for a clip or mustang II..... so now he is looking into buying the front mono leaf kit.. I guess it's selfish but the bright side of this is that its alot less work for me!
After taking out a couple of leafs in the stock springs it sits better (not nearly low enough for me but....) It's his. When we took it for a drive its scary! He took it into his local Tire/Alignment shop they said all the king pins and bushings are good. So, it has to be the springs and the fact they were not made to work with some of the leafs removed. So they would be whats causing it to wonder and dart around so badly that he doesn't want to drive it at all yet. So, he's wanting to order the front mono leafs... Anyone used them? Prices? I have seen prices 300-429.00 for the kit (new shackles and bushings) thanks in advance for any input
