Reverse light pigtail replacement?
I bought a LMC truck reverse light pigtail for my truck. I put it in my reverse light socket and no matter what I do I couldn't get the bulb in. The socket is clean and I've tried different bulbs, as well as some grease to help things along. I'm using the correct bulb that has the two dimples in the same place on each side of the bulb instead of offset ones like on the brake lights. Well I eventually broke the little circle piece in front of the spring pushing so hard trying to get the bulb in. The bulb doesn't have enough room for it to slide all the way back and turn in the groves. I even tried putting the bulb in without the spring and just the connector in the socket and it still wouldn't go in. If I take the whole thing out of the socket the bulb goes right in. I also tried filing the bottom of the bulb down where it touches the wiring to try and make some extra room in there to get the bulb to sit a little further, didn't to anything. Long story short some of LMC's stuff isn't the best, anyone know any other brands I can get for a reverse light pigtail?
