Manual Window Regulator Install
Howdy all,
Search is down and I looked through the FAQ's, but couldn't find anything on a regulator install. Can somebody give me heads up on what it takes? It looks basically straight foreward, but it's been raining here daily and I don't want to get caught with the window out after hitting some unexpected problems. Thanks! CRUCIAL Info
THE main thing is, DO NOT remove the rivets from the motor unless you clamp it HARD or bolt it in place. The spring is VERY high tension, and you WILL lose fingers if you do not hold it in place first SECURELY. Trust an old Chevy Dealer body man who NEARLY found out the hard way. Be careful, Hot Rod
