New pics of beginning project

Here are a cople pics of my new project. It is an 87 1/2 t, 4x4, 4sp w/granny low. It is a little rusty but will get new sheetmetal and still deciding on paint color. I am going one color but that is all I know so far.

Re: New pics of beginning project

thats another gorgeous truck with alot of potential i love that brush guard and that visor...its kinda the vision i had when i first got mine... only thing i would have done different is kinda like a step ( like the ones alot of the older Fords have ) as opposed to a running board . Best of luck with it

Stock is sexy.........and worth more in the end
I understand upgrading motor, tranny, and rear end....but keep the exterior stock looking

Re: New pics of beginning project

My plans so far:
Engine work- headers with true duals and no cats, massage the heads a little, Polish the tb(if I keep tbi, if not I will be going 355 carbed), reprogram comp, electric fans, upgrade ignition, Dress up a little

Exterior and interior- I to like the stock look, it is gonna receive new bedsides, rockers, and doors, everything else is good. Interior is also gonna stay mostly stock except for vinyl floor and maybe seat . I am gonna get dmi rear bumper.

I am thinking about lifting with 33's but don't know yet. If I go this route I will be looking for 3/4 or 1 ton axles( So any offers). I have good tranny(sm465)

I just want a nice clean looking truck. No moulding or anything just paint and chrome. The steps are gonna go and get replaced with tubesteps.

Real Trucks aren't bought they are BUILT!!!!!
