Electric Fuel Tank Selector

I have to replace the fuel tank selector valve and I am going to do filters and hoses at the same time. Is this a straight forward job or is there something to worry about. Is there any problems with valves. I was looking at a Pollak Electric Motor Driven.

Any help thanks
Pops

if the connections are the same on the valves then its straight foreward, everything is cramped up and i would go ahead and replace the hose's running off the tanks if i we're to do this again, im pretty sure they'll be some rubbing on them and thevy probally wore a little thin. taking the bed off will make this a no brainer, i would like to go stainless braided lines if i could but dont have the money or time....

He's right in that taking the bed off will help on the replacing of lines. I'm not sure on the valve you want to use but on the GM replacement it was a direct swap over.
