Column help

How do i get the shift lever housing off ? im changing the wires in the column ???

I used a punch to tap it off.I placed the punch where the 4 way flasher is(that hole) and then on the opposite side where the turn signal lever is.Tap genltly and work from side to side.A little WD40 helps too.
