Carb question
I have a 1965 C-10 with the 230 inline 6. The previous owner "fixed" a fuel leak at the carb by using JB Weld to seal the fuel filter coupling to the carb body, permanently. The carb is in need of replacement.
I have a 235 carb readily available. The online parts vendors I have visited looking for answers all list the same carb for the 230 and 235. Will this carb work on the 230? Is it the same body with a different jet that I could take from the old carb? Thanks for any help. Mike

Thanks ImpalaSS.
I am pretty sure it is a 230. At least, the owner's manual gives an engine color code, for which blue is a 230 L-6, and I can still see blue under all the oil and grime. The only other engines listed in the owner's manual, besides the 230, are a 153 L-4, a 292 L-6 (I know it't not this one), and a 283 V-8. I guess I will go ahead and give it a try this weekend. Thanks, Mike
