Vent window gasket
So I decided to put new gaskets in my vent window even though they weren't bad but I was given a set so I decided to anyway. Does anybody have a tips on getting this in.

sorry i dont have a link for you but you should either google it or check u tube precision has a awesome video on how to do it and walk you through every step

We cheated and cut it - sliced it with a razor so it was a clean cut and crazy glued it back together - 3 years ago and its still perfect (garaged though)
otherwise I believe you have to take out a rivet (and find a new one) |

Lol that's what I did to get it around the rivets because I didn't want to drill them out I can seem to get that bottom corner in though it just won't contour to it, I even tried to put the old one back in and it wouldn't fit. I'm thinking about just getting the rivet kit like the guy had in the video it may countour a little better then. Thanks for the help

The vent weatherstrip can really be tricky if you're not familiar with the process. Our video is for the 73-80 trucks but is very similar to the 67-72's. Let me know if you have any questions.
